Hazelarmstrong.com is renewed! Hazel Armstrong (the van) has been on the road since July 2005 after completion of the restoration. We have enjoyed several beautiful trips along the European and English Atlantic coastline. Now, three years and 30.000 kilometers (+/- 19.000 miles) later, we still enjoy this lovely van every day.
We hope that the information provided via this website will help our colleague amateur mechanics through the dark times of the restoration process. Especially the moments when you are considering to find yourself a sledgehammer or a jerry can and matches to get rid of this big, useless, rusty hump of steal. After all the time and effort you have spent, we guarantee there is noting like driving around in your self-made van.
